8 Hour OSHA Hazwoper Manager/Supervisor Course Description: This online course provides the Hazwoper Manager/Supervisor a thorough, in-depth education in OSHA’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Standards, which require employees to complete appropriate HAZWOPER training prior to entering or beginning work on an emergency response or at an uncontrolled hazardous waste site operation. OSHA recommends workplace safety training for a safe and healthful work environment. This is why those Managers/Supervisors who work on a job site where hazardous materials are present need this course. Both general construction workers and management benefit from this training, including new hazardous waste and emergency response workers, hazardous materials technicians, hazardous materials specialists, and on-scene incident commanders. Note this course consists of 14 lessons which are self-guided, self-directed, and self-study. Each Lesson has a Course Syllabus and Performance Evaluation that should be reviewed to identify lesson objectives and apply knowledge gained to the workplace. Upon completion of study for each lesson, the student will be presented with a random examination covering the lesson objectives consisting of 15 multiple choice questions. A passing rate of 70% is required. If the student fails, another random generated quiz will be provided. The student can repeat the exam multiple times until passing, as no two tests will be the same.
